The feedback from everyone so far has been amazing! It’s going to be an epic weekend bringing together the print community across the country. We’ve received expressions of interest from Kerikeri to Ōtautahi Christchurch and many places in between. I can’t wait to see you all there!
Thank you for taking the time to follow and like us on our social media sites and sharing with your friends, family and colleagues. If you haven’t done so already – do it now!
Print Lab
For those of you who want to get your fingers inky we will have a Print Lab where you can try your hand at pulling a squeegee and rolling a brayer to make your own bespoke print to take home with you. We are super excited to announce Graham Judd from Inkiana Press will be at the Print Lab on Saturday 6 Nov 10am – 5pm with his mobile Albion Press.
Noa Noa Von Bassewitz is a printmaker/anthropologist based in Wellington whose expressive woodcuts depict mystical creatures, drawing on Māori and Pacific imagery.
You can meet her in person at the Print Fair on Saturday 6 Nov, 10am - 5pm.
There’s been a great response from individual artists, print groups and galleries to exhibit at the Print Fair, ensuring a varied selection of print techniques and price points. This is your opportunity to start or build your collection of original prints made by some of our top artists in Aotearoa.
Print Talks
We are honoured to have printmaker Prue MacDougall facilitating the artist talks, presentations, and panel discussions on Saturday 6 Nov 10am – 5pm.
She already has an exciting line up of speakers confirmed, including esteemed painter and printmaker Stanley Palmer.
